Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the directory and have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of yourself or any organisation you represent.

2. Your account

You sign in with an email address (passwordless magic link) or via Google OAuth. You're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to abuse the service.

3. Submitting a listing

Listings are free. To submit one you must:

• Own the product you're listing, or be authorised by its owner to submit it.
• Provide accurate information. We may reject or remove listings that misrepresent the product, link to a non-functional site, or duplicate an existing listing.
• Place our backlink badge on your product's declared homepage. This is the value exchange that keeps the directory free and dofollow-rich.

All submissions go through manual editorial review before publication. We don't commit to a review SLA at this stage.

4. The backlink + reachability exchange

We monitor each approved listing's declared homepage daily for two things:

• Backlink presence. If the backlink badge is missing on a reachable site, we email you a notice and flip your outbound link to rel="nofollow" the same day. After three consecutive days without the backlink, the listing is hidden from public view. Your dashboard access stays. The listing auto-restores at any future time when the backlink is put back.
• Site reachability. If your site is unreachable for seven days we email a warning; for fourteen days we hide the listing; for sixty days we mark it abandoned. Listings are kept in the database indefinitely so they can restore without data loss.

Editorial seed listings (those we curate without an explicit submission) are exempt from the backlink requirement but get nofollow outbound links — the dofollow upgrade is reserved for listings that participate in the exchange.

5. Content you provide

You keep ownership of everything you submit (listing content, comments, build-log entries, screenshots, logos). By submitting it, you grant MintedSaaS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, syndicate via RSS and our MCP server, and use it for indexing and search — for as long as the content remains on the directory.

You represent that you have the rights to grant this licence and that the content doesn't infringe anyone else's rights or violate the law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit malware, phishing pages, or products that violate the law
• Post comments that are hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that include personal attacks
• Try to inflate clicks, momentum signals, or backlink checks via automated scripts
• Bypass rate limits, the bot challenge, or other protective measures
• Scrape the public directory in ways that disregard our robots.txt rules — use our RSS feed, JSON-LD, or MCP server instead

7. Moderation

We may edit, decline, or remove any submission or comment at our discretion. We try to be transparent (rejection emails include the reason) but we don't commit to a formal appeal process at this stage. Comments are plain text only, published immediately, and screened against a banned-words list + rate limits per user.

8. Outbound links and the dofollow signal

We provide outbound links from listings to your product's homepage. Dofollow is provided as part of the value exchange — not as a paid SEO product. We make no guarantees about specific search-engine rankings, referral volume, or that any particular link attribute will be retained if the underlying signals change.

9. Intellectual property

The directory's name, design, code, and editorial materials are owned by the operator. The product names, logos, and marks in each listing belong to their respective owners and appear under fair use / nominative-use principles for the purpose of directory listing.

10. Copyright takedown (DMCA-style)

If you believe content on MintedSaaS infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with:

• Your contact information (name, email, postal address)
• Identification of the copyrighted work (e.g. the original page or asset URL)
• Identification of the allegedly-infringing material — the specific MintedSaaS URL(s) at issue
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, agent, or law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them
• Your physical or electronic signature

We typically respond within 5 business days. Repeat or fraudulent notices may be referred to counsel. Counter-notices follow the same channel.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time (contact us — self-service is on the roadmap). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or prolonged inactivity. If we terminate your account for abuse, your listings may be removed.

12. Disclaimers

The directory is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information in a listing is accurate or current.

Listings are independently submitted. MintedSaaS doesn't endorse, verify, or guarantee any product listed. Always do your own due diligence before buying or building on a listed product.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MintedSaaS and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of your use of the directory. Total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of $50 USD or the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (which, at the free tier, is $0).

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MintedSaaS harmless from any third-party claim arising out of content you submit, your use of the directory, or your violation of these terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in those courts unless local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights.

16. Changes

We may update these terms over time. We'll change the "last updated" date above and email accountholders for material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
