Badge policy

What to do

1. After approval, you'll receive a badge HTML snippet (also visible in your dashboard).
2. Paste it anywhere reachable on your homepage — footer is fine.
3. We crawl your homepage daily. As long as the link to mintedsaas.com is present and resolvable, your listing stays live with dofollow attribution.

Badge variants

Three image variants plus a plain-text fallback live in your share kit:

• Featured on — default light theme. Pastes cleanly on white or light backgrounds.
• Featured on — dark — same content, dark theme for hero sections with a dark background.
• Live status — auto-updates between Trending, Consistent builder, and New arrival based on your current Momentum label. Falls back to "Featured on" when no label is active. Paste the URL once; we refresh the image on our side.
• Plain-text variant — text-only anchor for sites that strip images. Same dofollow link, no image.

The image variants must be wrapped in an <a href> pointing at your listing URL — the image alone won't be crawled. The share-kit copy buttons emit the full snippet.

Live-status badges are cached at the CDN for up to 1 hour, so a change in your Momentum label can take up to an hour to appear on your site.

If the badge goes missing

When the link disappears from your homepage, we give you a 3-day grace window and send a reminder email. After that, the listing is hidden — not deleted; you can restore it any time by putting the badge back.

Why mandatory?

Directories that don't require backlinks accumulate dead listings, spam, and link equity that flows nowhere. Mandatory backlinks keep listings honest and signal that the product still exists. It's a small ask in exchange for a permanent dofollow link from a curated directory.
